BEACH TENNIS HISTORY

Beach tennis history reaches back in early 1970, in US and Brazil, but in the next few years it found its way to Italy in which the popularity of this new sport, even today, is at its climax. All over Europe, Beach tennis expanded tremendously in the last 5 years and thus also gained in popularity.

Beach tennis in Europe is mostly played in Italy, Followed by Chech, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Holland, Hungary, Croatia. The popularity and promotions in the US in recent years, have made the tournaments there especially spectacular. Beach tennis is also known in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and they are also very active in Aruba and Bermuda.

Every year we strife to increase beach tennis popularity in Slovenia, to increase the number of pitch able to play on. You will not regret coming to our tournaments!.
